My Story
From courthouse corridors
to a doctoral thesis.
My introduction to law goes back to my childhood. As the grandson of a Supreme Court member, I breathed the air of courthouse corridors from an early age; that environment instilled in me a deep curiosity for, and respect toward, the law. From the moment I decided to become a lawyer, I stood alongside my uncle, Att. Celal Nuri Demirtürk — a journey that began with summer breaks in high school and continued without interruption throughout my years at Başkent University Faculty of Law.
After graduating in 2014, I actively entered the profession, taking part in cases for both individual clients and companies and institutions. Having begun my master's degree in 2015, I am now pursuing doctoral studies in labor law. My thesis requires me to examine not only Turkish law but also the German and Swiss legal systems on a comparative basis.
Between 2022 and 2025, I served as legal counsel at OSTİM Technical University; this experience deepened both my corporate advisory practice and my knowledge of the legal issues facing higher-education institutions. More recently, I have continued to build my expertise in sports law and in national and international arbitration.
